Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse in a short-term acuity care facility. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, following established protocols and standards to ensure quality and safety. The assignment begins on 10/20/2026 and concludes on 01/19/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 10/20/2026 and ending on 01/19/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with at least 1 year of operating room nursing experience; ACLS and BLS certifications; experience with Lobe resection, Lung resection, Thoracotomy, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Arthroscopy, Closed reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Open reduction of fractures, Orthopedic/Spine surgeries, Spinal Fusion, Total joint replacement, Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Transurethral resection of the prostate; familiarity with infection control, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling and labeling, universal protocol, wound management, and pediatric surgeries.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scrub procedures, advanced equipment, and the ability to float between nearby facilities.
• Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling requests, including specific days off, must be submitted during the application process; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted. Candidates should have at least one year of operating room experience, with current licenses in hand, and be within 50 miles of the facility. Refusal to float between nearby facilities may result in contract termination.
